This photo belongs to my most favorite works in your gallery. The tight framing is extraordinary and it emphasizes the most important thing of the photo: the drop below the blossom. What makes this photo outstanding, is the coloring. As far as I can see, you love to make use of selective coloring in your works and you just nailed it here. The blue and green colors go together very well and they deliver a cold and moody atmosphere to me. So, they fit perfectly into the wistful theme of this photo which is suggested by the title ("Tear of Dreams"). However, the most interesting colors are the yellow hues. Being a complementary color to blue, yellow stands out against the rest of the image. It draws the attention of the viewer to the upper part of the image and thus to the area where the drop is. My only suggestion would be to remove the blue color artifacts on the stem. Other than that, it is an amazing work. Congrats on it!

love this. Question : do you use close up rings ? i just ask because of the extension. i also use a 50 mm lens but to get the object sharp i have to stay at least 50 cm away from it. this one is perfectly focused and looks like a macro....

Thank you so much for the nice words, my friend! Yes, if I remind correctly, I used a +4+1 or +2+1 close up filter with my 50mm f/1.8 lens.
